Jumog Waterfall Is Uniquely Beautiful


Karanganyar Regency is one of the areas located on the slopes of Mount Lawu which stands firmly on the border of Central and East Java Provinces. Jumog Waterfall is located in Berjo Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency. The location is in a line and not too far from Sukuh Temple, one of the well-known temples and also an icon of Karanganyar Regency.

If from the city of Solo, continue heading east, and after passing through the city of Karanganyar, pay close attention to the signs. Not far after the Karangpandan sub-district terminal, a road intersection will be found. Take the one to the left, because if you continue to take it to the Tawangmangu area.

Follow the typical mountain slope climbing and winding road. Fortunately there is no ascent or extreme bend to Jumog waterfall. The location is very easy to find. Arriving in the parking lot of the vehicle, after passing the payment counter, a path that has been made cemented steps will take you to the waterfall. The trail was built along the river that flows from the fall of the waterfall. The distance is only about 300 m and is relatively flat so it is more friendly for families who bring children. Moreover, the Jumog waterfall area is equipped with a swimming pool and playground.
